Packaging for the two-disc special edition DVD release of X-Men 2 had to mirror this science fiction film with characters high-tech in their costuming and equipment and unique in their talents. The goal was accomplished by choosing a brushed chrome film for a futuristic look. Multi-colored inks were used to print character close-ups in a debossed “X” with the film’s title embossed over it.
